We are nestled in the pine trees at the base of beautiful Mount Shasta In California. La Bongo Loca is a cozy and beautifully decorated Mexican Hacienda. This cute and peaceful studio is tastefully furnished with real "Mexican artifacts". We are located at the end of a dead-end road on Truck Village Drive. There are over 2,000 acres of trees and trails, including hiking to nearby Black Butte. There is a pond within walking distance too. There is a fully-equipped large kitchen with a kitchen table and breakfast nook. There is a warm fireplace for those cold romantic nights, and a deck to sit out on to view Mount Shasta or to just star gaze at night -there's even a telescope already inside. There is Satellite TV, and FREE Satellite Internet connection. What makes this place a particulary good value is that they offer FREE US long distance calls (60 minute/maximum per day)! What a great value this little treasure is! For those who like horses, the owner has a wild Mustang that she rescued named Ryobi and a donkey named Darcy. It's not unusual to see these two characters doing tricks to try to get your attention to obtain goodies.
