Port Canaveral, only 15 minutes away, offers weekend and week long cruises as well as gambling ships, fishing, sailing charters and many fine restaurants.

See Space Shuttle and other launches from the beach. Fishing, surfing, boating, kayaking, windsurfing, and other water sports are very popular in this area. Turtle migrations and egg laying can be observed all summer. Awesome sunsets over the Banana River are but steps away...
