Constructed in 2005, this three-bedroom, two-bathroom Bay House is a fun and relaxing place to enjoy fishing, bird watching and beaching. It is also great for scrapbooking and quilting retreats. Located in San Luis Beach Subdivision, Bayview is located 60 minutes south of Houston/35 minutes from Galveston. Located on the bay with a private pier. Fishing-many boat ramps in the area, marinas and deep sea party boats which can be chartered. Inshore fishing is popular on the 21 miles of shore from Jetty Park in Surfside to San Luis Pass Bridge. Or just fish or crab off the private fishing dock at Bayview.

Bird watching-The county is home to three major National Wildlife Refuges. More than three hundred birds stay on these refuges during the winter with an additional fifty migrant bird varieties beginning in March and ending in mid-May.

Area Parks-Stahlman Park, The Crabbing Pier, Jetty Park, Schlitterbahn Water Park located nearby at Galveston Island. Casino boat in Clute.
