Totally Unique Timberframe cabins in Luray, Virginia on 15 acres bordering the Shenandoah National Park with a pond, stream and nature trail. Shadow Mountain Escape (SME) is three Timber Frame Structures located in a beautiful "niche" of the Blue Ridge Mountains known as "Jewell Hollow" - Luray. The primary timber frame structure is a unique duplex lodge named Bear Dance Lodge. The Lodge consists of the Bumble Bee and Dragon Fly cabins which are cleverly designed with no walls shared between the two independent dwellings. This two cabin lodge has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and sleeps up to 12 people. (The cabins can be rented separately or together). www.shadowmountainescape.com Observation Tower - A Must See! The Bear Dance Lodge has an observation tower, which provides a striking view of the ridge line (Skyline drive) and surrounding forest for guests to enjoy. The Butterfly is Shadow Mountain Escape�s newest addition. This stand-alone unit is the most secluded - it rests on the second level of the timber frame �salt box� barn structure. La Cantina! Have you ever been to a European bar/pub/cantina? Be sure to inquire about this private room available for private group and romantic parties, birthday and anniversary celebrations, meetings, etc. This room is located below the Bear Dance Lodge and captures that special atmosphere for our guests that we�ve only found in the authentic settings of a German �Stube� or a Tuscan �Cantina�!
