The Beaches of Phuket, Thailand

Nestled in the blue and clear Andaman Sea, the miles and miles of white-sand beaches along the Coast of Phuket Island make this island gem a world class tourist destination. Patong Beach is probably the most infamous beach resort in Phuket because of its throbbing nightlife. It is a party hotspot known in the international scene.

Kamala Beach has a more sedate night life as the said beach currently does not have modern resort hotels but more of small and very affordable huts and bungalows on the beach front. Kamala beach is heaven-sent to backpackers.

Kata Beach has the hustle and bustle of Patong but on a lesser scale and definitely on a more family-oriented ambiance.

Karon Beach is on the west side of Phuket and is less crowded than Kata but it still has great facilities and amenities for tourists. The price range of accommodations is more affordable for the budget-conscious traveller.
