Going to China is a very enriching experience. The city has a lot of places where tourist can go to and immerse in the culture that the country offers. There are plenty of transportations to take you around the city. Here are some ideas about the city's available transport systems:

International travelers would land on the Pudong International airport whilst visitors coming in locally would be using the Shanghai Airport. Both airports are a short ride away from the main city.

-   Taxi Lines

There are plenty of taxis that can take you to the city from the airport. Just make sure that you take the official taxi lines when you go to and from the airport. It is also advisable to have the address of your hotel written in Chinese as most taxi drivers do not speak any other languages. Or just bring a local friend to your trip.

-   Rental Cars

Traffic in China is heavy almost all the time. If you're up to it, you can drive yourself around the city. Just prepare to get stuck most of the time.

-   Bus Lines

Bus lines are intended for the adventurous ones. If you're not on a tight schedule, buses are the most inexpensive way to travel around Shanghai.
