Mexico is an enchanting vacation destination with a thriving tourism industry and many choices of vacation rentals in its major towns and cities. The country is in the southern part of North America stretching between a gulf and an ocean. A sojourn into Mexico will be an experience because of its natural beauty, tradition, culture and history. Casa des Colibris is a vacation rental home located at the foot of El Salto Mountain in Los Altos with a view of the pasture lands and the mountains. It is a 2970-square foot adobe house which has been beautifully renovated to make it one of the finest Los Altos vacation rentals. Incredible sunsets, views of the mountains and full access to the Los Altos Club House are just some of its wide range of amenities. Casa Bella is another full studio guest house made of adobe in the breathtakingly beautiful Los Taos community. This vacation rental home offers a feeling of French Country Charm with its tasteful furnishings and romantic arches, a large country kitchen and heated flooring. Viva la Mejico means Long live Mexico which has been first recorded in the Cry of Independence of 1810. In Spanish the X would sound like S, so Spaniards and older people use Méjico instead in their speaking and writing. The Spanish language is regulated by the Real Academia Española and they determined that although both Mexico and Méjico are acceptable in Spanish, Mexico is the normative spelling. In postage stamps, the change from Méjico to Mexico happened in May 15, 1864 when the regency came out with the Eagle stamps to replace the old postage stamps. Inhabitans in many parts of Mexico like Los Altos and people of Spain still spell and pronounce it as Méjico. Viva la Mejico and its enchanting vacation rentals! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
