Discovering the Best of Peru

Peru is said to be the cradle of the ancient civilisation of the Incas, one of the ancestors of the Americans. In your visit, you can expect to see remnants of the ancient civilisation mixed with the modern culture. There are a lot of things and places to discover in Peru. Here are some of those places:

Machu Picchu
This is referred to as “The Lost City of the Incas”. It is believed to be an abandoned city situated in the tropical mountain forest. The abandoned city was discovered by an explorer named Hiram Bingham in the year 1911. You can take a private tour in the place and explore the ruins.

Cusco City
You can find the city of Cusco at the northern part of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This city is said to be the Holy City of the Incas. It is a sacred place that they believed to be the center of the world and thus it is called “The Navel of the World”. These days, you can see mixture of Incas and Spanish culture. It has well designed churches, monasteries and convents.

Amantani Island
This is called “Uros Floating Island” because the Uros tribe collected reeds to build floating platform built houses. This is to isolate themselves from threats of invaders. You can take a guided tour to the place.

See the Condor
“Cruz del Condor” is a lookout point where you could see the beautiful flight of the condor birds. Along the way to the place, you can see the beauty of the Colca River and valley.
